We provide physical due diligence services for real estate developers, private property owners, institutional investors and nonprofit corporations. The level of detail we provide in our due diligence services is dictated by our clients. We typically include an evaluation of all available documentation related to the property as well as a detailed inspection of the building(s) and site. In addition we research public records and industry databases to provide our clients with as much information as possible so they are as informed as possible about the assets they are purchasing.
The inspection of the property includes interviews with key management personnel, inspection of all accessible spaces, and discussions with code and fire officials. In many cases our clients require selective limited destructive testing to confirm the condition of hidden spaces and conformance with construction documentation.
